Nepal
Wow, well what a brilliant collection of photos Guy. I have learnt so much about Nepal from touring a virtual tour! It is so clever that you capture so many 'essences' of a country, materials, food, temples, scenery, water, smiles. I love love love it! Makes one want to either win lotto or rob a bank in order to get there as soon as possible to check it out for ourselves!

Beautiful Pictures - still using SLR?
Hi Guy, Kate S, sent the website it is just beautiful - Are you still using your SLR or have you gone digital now?My son is very envious of the Kayak photos..

Thanks Helen - yes, went digital about 18 months ago. Still have the old SLR but it's gathering dust. Even though the best digital pics probably aren't quite as good as the best transparency images, the ease of digital wins over. Is your son a kayaker?

Canberra =the beautiful
Hi Guy Canberra never looked as beautiful as this when I lived there. You have offered a completely different perspective on the concrete jungle.Now I have somehwere to look when I am feeling a bit homesick and need a fix of a favourite place, and all the firends who live there. Thank you - it is a brilliant site, and thanks Kate S for telling me about it.

Thank's Barb - maybe it's the night shots that make Canberra look so good haha! If you sign up to the mailing list, I'll be able to tell you when I put some new ones up.

Brilliance in detail and vision
Congratulations on doing this Guy! This is absolutely amazing and only begins to display the incredible talent you have! I absolutely love the shot of the little blue wren, as that has personal significance. I will look with great interest at all of your additions and thank you so very much, for giving us, 'the ones yet to travel the world', an amazing up close and personal view of the world you have experienced!

Thanks Kate - kind words. I've put up a 'what's new' page so you can track what changes. There'll be a few more of Canberra too.

Thanks Lynne - I think it's because I'm still in the early days of setting up the site, and haven't got the photos assigned to categories absolutely right - photos can be assigned to multiple categories so there can be duplication of images: this can be good and bad! I've also been experimenting with reorganising categories using parent & child categories. It's a bit of a work in progress, but always interested in your feedback as to what you find easiest/most intuitive.

Many thanks Al - unfortunately just discovered that the content management system behind the website doesn't support non-image - eg pdf files. I can link to them, but they have to be up on another site. I'll get there though!
