Nishi chieftain goes kayaking, Kameng valley This is the story of a journey up the Kameng River valley in the Arunachal Pradesh region of India. The author, Guy Reeve, and photographer, Jock Montgomery, were part of a team of kayakers and rafters in search of white water and a first descent of a little known river. The story describes their impressions of the people and cultures they encounter as they travel north from the plains of India and the massive Brahmaputra river up into the mountainous Kameng valley.
