When not spending time on the usual boring grown up stuff, I like to muck around outside with toys like kayaks and cameras.

Although I need a day job to fund all this, which I kind of enjoy, family and friends have encouraged me to do something with my images.

This website is hopefully a step in the right direction.

Why photography? I've always been excited by the process of seeing images emerge, either on screen, on paper or in my imagination.

And there's nothing that I enjoy more than combining my passions of kayaking and photography, so many of the images you see on this site were taken from a kayak or in the course of a kayaking expedition.

I reckon there are not many better ways to see the world.
